An impressive hand crafted antique Silver, Moonstone and Carnelian brooch in the Arts and Crafts style and dating to around 1900. With a somewhat older mediaeval or Celtic mood, each piece of this gorgeous brooch was worked by hand and as such shows quirky and natural variation to the shaping and balance. The central Carnelian panel is moodily shaped and slightly matt in finish which contrasts with the high gleam of the domed Moonstones and Carnelians surrounding and the textured Fleur de Lys shapes. 

It measures two inches lengthways and closes with a traditional curled 'C' clasp.
